Communications Engineer / Researcher

InnoCube is looking to hire one Communications Engineer / Researcher one who will play a key role in our team with respect to the implementation of next-generation communications and networks applications. The applicants will work with state-of-the-art technologies and will contribute to open-source and commercial solutions.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or relevant field
  • PhD degree in electrical engineering or relevant field
  • Octave and SageMath programming
  • Excellent understanding of statistics, multivariable calculus and linear algebra
  • Experience in conducting research
  • Experience in drafting, writing and submitting scientific publications
  • Extensive experience in biomedical communications
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience with Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe Research and Development (R&D) projects
  • Experience with Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) libraries, such as Scikit Learn, Tensorflow/Keras and/or PyTorch


  • Leading the research team
  • Drafting Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe Research and Development (R&D) project proposals
  • Statistical modelling and data analytics
  • Identifying solutions to overcome communication system challenges
  • Implementing machine learning and deep learning models
  • Editing, authoring and delivery of technical reports and deliverables
  • Communication with computer engineers and researchers
  • Participation in technical meetings, representing InnoCube
